-WHY IS EVERY GARMENT UNIQUE?

They are unique from the beginning because they are made from vintage clothing. Every vintage garment has it's own color, pattern and design. Then we take them and hand cut them and re-craft them into individual Kallio garments right here in New York, USA. This makes every single garment one-of-a-kind, just like the unique individuals that will wear it.

-WHY RE-USE OR UPCYCLE???

To put it simply we wanted to create something useful from waste. Every year Millions of tons of textiles are thrown out with domestic waste and end up in landfill. As much as 95 percent of these clothes could be used again; re-worn, reused or recycled - depending on the state of the garment. Rather than adding to this problem we are offering a solution, while creating a fun, everyday items that all have a unique character. With Upcycling we are maintaining the quality and integrity of the pre-loved fabric. What's old is new again but with a twist.

-I'M UNSURE ABOUT A SIZE OR HAVE A FIT QUESTION. HOW DO I FIND THIS INFORMATION?

ORDERS AND SHIPPING

-I JUST PLACED MY ORDER. CAN I ADD ANOTHER ITEM TO IT?

Unfortunately we cannot add items to an existing order. Please place a new order for the item and contact us. We'll be happy to waive shipping on this additional order if it was placed within 24 hours of the original order. Email us to let us with the order numbers.

-WHAT IF ITEMS ARE BACKORDERED OR SOLD OUT?

If popular designs have sold out please email us so we can give you an approximate date for when the item will be back in stock.

-WHEN WILL MY ORDER SHIP?

Most orders ship within 2-3 business days of purchase. Shipping times may vary due to availability of merchandise. Orders are not shipped on the weekends or holidays.

-WHERE IS MY ORDER CONFIRMATION?

As soon as your order ships, you will receive an email confirmation to the email address you entered on your order. If for some reason, you did not receive an email, please check your spam folder and add info@kallionyc.com to your safe sender list.

You can also check your order status by signing into your account on our website.

-WHY WAS MY ORDER CANCELED?

Due to an unforeseen event, the item you ordered suddenly became out of stock and is no longer available. We promise these cases are rare. However, if an item in your order does become unavailable, you will be contacted within 24 to 48 hours about the cancellation. If your order contains additional items, these items will still be shipped to you and the unavailable item will be removed from your order.

-WILL I HAVE TO PAY INTERNATIONAL TAXES AND DUTIES?

Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. The general amount for the duties and taxes fee is 20% of the dollar amount of the merchandise. However, this is just a general guideline and may vary depending on the country to which the order was shipped. You should contact your customs office for specific amounts and percentages.

KALLIO cannot control and is not responsible for any duties/taxes applied to your package. You will be responsible for paying additional charges for customs clearance. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; please contact your local customs office for further information. Note, in rare occasions custom agents may delay delivery of some packages.

By law, we must declare all items at their full price and cannot alter this amount to decrease international custom fees.

If you refuse a shipment from KALLIO, you are responsible for the original shipping charges, any import fees, duties and/or taxes that are incurred on the package, and the cost of returning the package to KALLIO. This amount will be deducted from your merchandise refund. In the instance that the return fee exceeds the amount of the merchandise plus shipping costs, the package will be abandoned and you will not be refunded.

-I HAVE A STORE CREDIT HOW DO I USE IT?

  1. First, sign into your Kallio account.
  2. You should see the store credit on the "My Account" page.
  3. Upon checkout, the store credit will automatically be deducted from your order total.
  4. If you do not use the entire store credit, the remainder will go back into your Kallio account to be used on future purchases.
  5. All store credits are valid for one year from the date issued.

GIFT CARDS

-I RECEIVED A KALLIO GIFT CARD HOW DO I USE IT?

  1. Under the Payment section during checkout, click the "Use A Gift Card" button.
  2. Enter your gift card number and PIN (if you have one).
  3. Upon checkout, the store credit will automatically be deducted from your order total.
  4. Click "Apply Gift Card".
  5. The gift card amount will be deducted from your order total.

RETURN/EXCHANGE

-WHAT'S THE RETURN AND EXCHANGE POLICY?

If you are not completely satisfied with your KALLIO online purchase, you may send it back to us for an exchange or a refund.
Sale merchandise are Final Sale. No exchanges or returns will be accepted.
All merchandise returned must be unworn, unwashed, with the price tags intact.
Returns must be returned within 15 days of the original ship date and should be sent prepaid. We will not accept CODs.
We recommend packages be returned via traceable carrier and insured to the full amount of the merchandise. We are not responsible for missing packages.
Exchanges/Refunds are processed within 7 days after we receive the merchandise. You will receive a confirmation by email when your exchanges/refunds are processed.
In case merchandise is not available for exchange, you will be reimbursed.
We will refund your credit card for the purchase price of the merchandise minus shipping costs. We do not refund original or return shipping costs.
We have the right to deny credits if the merchandise returned does not meet our return policy requirements.

-WHAT IS THE RETURNS AND EXCHANGES PROCEDURE?

1. Before sending out your return/exchange package, please click "My Account" to log in and locate the appropriate order under "Order History".
2. Click "Create Return Request", select the items and reasons for the return and click "Create". Your Return Authorization number (RA#) will be emailed to you once we process your request; please allow up to 72 hours for processing. All requests for RA numbers must be made online. No RA numbers are available via telephone, fax, or mail.
3. Print your confirmation email and include it with your package.
4. Pack and securely seal the merchandise in the original package if possible. Jewelry must be returned in original packaging. Please write your RA# very visibly on the outside of the package.

-HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO PROCESS MY RETURN?

Once we have received your package, your refund will be processed within 7 business days. You will be notified via email at the address listed on your account when this transaction has taken place.

Please note that your banking institution may require additional days to process and post this transaction to your account once they have received the information from us.
